    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Snowball or avalanche: which is better?

Avalanche pays the highest interest rate first, so it usually costs the least interest. Snowball pays the smallest balance first, so whole debts disappear sooner, and those quick wins help many people stick with the plan. The comparison under the results shows both for your own debts.

    What does rollover mean?

When a debt is paid off, its minimum payment stays in your monthly budget and moves to the next debt in line. You keep paying the same total each month until everything is paid.

    Why does it say “Never”?

If a payment does not cover a debt’s monthly interest, the balance never goes down. Raise that minimum payment or the extra amount.

    How exact are the numbers?

Interest is worked out once a month on each balance (APR ÷ 12). Card issuers may charge interest daily, add fees or change your rate, so treat the result as an estimate. It is not financial advice, and FightTech is not a lender or a debt service.

What does the Android app add?

Unlimited debts and the avalanche method, credit card payoff, an extra payment simulator and refinance and consolidation, plus a loan calculator, reminders and a widget. Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase or a monthly or 3-month plan. You start with 5 credits, and each opens Avalanche or a Pro tool for 24 hours.
